A grand open-air concert on the Potemkin stairs gathered about 10,000 spectators

On June 7, 2019, as part of the V Anniversary International Classical Music Festival Odessa Classics, one of the festival’s most grandiose events took place on the Potemkin Stairs — an open-air concert that gathered about 10,000 spectators.

Oleksiy Botvinov, president of the ODESSA CLASSICS festival, noted: “The goals of ODESSA CLASSICS are not only to popularize classical music in Ukraine but also to return our country to the classical, including festival, map of Europe.”

The Secretary of the Odesa City Council, Oleksiy Potapsky, presented Oleksiy Botvinov with the Honorary Distinction of the Odesa City Mayor “Sign of Honor,” thanking him for organizing the classical music festival and promoting the city worldwide.
