Yen Han Ballet Company Zurich
“Yen Han Ballet Productions GmbH” stands for ballet production company, ballet school and ballet company.
We are a ballet company with far-reaching national and international perspectives. While continuing the great traditions of classical ballet, we facilitate the creation of new choreographies. Our motto “excellence and quality” reflects the creed of Yen Han, a long-standing soloist of Ballet Zurich, who has lent her name to the company.
Yen Han Ballet Productions is located in Küsnacht near Zurich. Beside creating ballet performances, we also act as an agency for dancers, and choreographers. We produce dance events, tours, academic programs with master classes, and choreographic platform to exhibit new talents.
We build networks for artists, organizers and sponsors from different countries. With our resident choreographers Filipe Portugal and Ken Ossola, we are an independent dance company, and we present our own ballet productions in Switzerland and all over the world.
Synergies between Yen Han Ballet Productions and our ballet school, “Yen Han Dance Center”, enable us to offer a large variety of workshops, lectures and, amongst others, give chances to the students of the ballet school to participate in our projects, and to get a professional practical experience. Our school in Witikon will have additional studios in our domicile in Küsnacht. Thus, the range of its dance classes can be increased considerably. If necessary, the two spacious studios in Küsnacht can be turned into one large studio of 265 square meters.
We also offer comprehensive services as an event manager, we enable, plan, organize, and look after your events of various kinds, which take place at our own venue, fully equipped with a modern stage and a hall which can accommodate up to 100 people.
Naturally, you can also ask us to organize your event in another place. Furthermore, Yen Han Ballet Productions creates choreographies that match the theme of your function (for instance for product presentations of international corporations).
